The break should be no larger than a quarter and out of driver's direct line of
vision.
There is no risk! In the event you are not completely
satisfied with your stone chip repair, the full cost of
the repair will be credited to the cost of a windshield
replacement. Although stone chip repairs can be performed
"on the road", we have found a much higher rate of success
when the repair is done in our shop where we can control
the flow of the resins by controlling the temperature
of the glass. Also, the resins cure with ultra violet
light. Since the sun is ultra violet light, it is more
difficult for us to control the cure time outside. Just
30 minutes in our shop can insure the best possible repair.
